Board and Committees
The partnership consists of an Executive Board and two committees:
Executive Board (EB) - Comprised of senior representatives from federal and state governments, law enforcement, and healthcare associations; the EB provides strategic direction for the partnership and shares information with the leadership of member organizations.
Data Analysis and Review Committee (DARC) - Comprised of representatives from federal and state governments, private payers, law enforcement, and healthcare associations; the DARC focuses on the operational and technical aspects of data exchanges, findings, and results. Committee members weigh and prioritize ideas for analyses and define studies, review study results, and coordinate within their organizations to determine how to individually apply the results.
Information Sharing Committee (ISC) - Comprised of representatives from federal and state governments, private payers, law enforcement, and healthcare associations; the ISC focuses on sharing the aggregated results and the individual best practices of the participants among the partners and to external stakeholders. Committee members identify opportunities for dissemination of healthcare fraud information and resources to partners and external audiences.
Trusted Third Party - In addition to the HFPP formal structures of the Executive Board, Data Analysis and Review Committee, and the Information Sharing Committee, there also exists a support role of a "Trusted Third Party" (TTP) operated by a federal contractor procured by CMS.
The TTP supports the HFPP in day to day operations by facilitating the design and execution of all studies, provide subject matter expertise in data analytics and provide a secure health analytics environment for hosting the data. Additionally the TTP plays a role in managing and facilitating partner communications, committee meetings and support the processes and product development from data collection through outcomes collection.
